Reading Road

Reading Road is a purpose built young care leavers scheme that provides 16-25 year olds with a stepping stone to independence.

The development includes seven bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with shared communal facilities such as kitchen, living room and large garden; as well as two bed-sitting apartments for those young people who are ready to take the next step in living independently.

This scheme is located within walking distance to Wokingham town center and mainline station for easy access to education and employment opportunities.

Residents at Reading Road are supported 24 hours a day, seven days a week by an on-site care support team who help young people with the transition into adulthood.

 

 

Support at Reading Road

At Reading Road there is a 24 hours a day, seven days a week on site presence provided by People Potential Possibilities (P3). This attendance is there to provide residents with daily support to discuss the goals and support for the duration of their residency.

PS Loddon Homes’ nominated care provider at this scheme and has been providing services to people since 1972. They provide a variety of services, (hostels, outreach services, supported housing, link workers and youth and advice services) throughout the country.

P3 is a voluntary sector provider that is a registered charity. Further information about P3 can be found on the P3 website.
