Development
Loddon Homes prides itself in providing good-quality homes; this starts with development. Whether we are developing the homes ourselves or working with partners to build on our behalf, longevity, sustainability, safety and comfort remain the priority.
In 2025, Loddon Homes and its sister organisation, Berry Brook Homes, created its five-year development strategy. After a period of small growth, we are once again ready to deliver more homes on a larger scale. For now, we will stay small, but we still aim to deliver at least 300 more homes by 2030/31.
Our focus is on strengthening our contribution to the local S106 market by building strong partnerships with major housebuilders. We will also collaborate with small and medium‑sized developers to deliver joint‑venture projects, while exploring opportunities to acquire and develop our own land. Whichever route we take, our priority remains the same: increasing delivery to meet the growing demand for housing across the Borough and beyond.
